Red Woodland Square Paper Plates

Fold a square of paper in half twice, cut very carefully, open it up, and you'd get something close to this: two deer facing each other under a pair of cardinals, squirrels perched up top, and a cluster of pinecones tied with a bow right in the middle. It's all cream on bright red, framed by a cream scalloped edge that makes the plate look finished before anything lands on it. At approx. 8" x 8", these red woodland paper plates are sized for Christmas cookies, a slice of yule log, or the overflow from the cheese board at a holiday open house. There's no Santa anywhere in the design, so they can stay out through January for winter birthdays and snow-day hot chocolate.
